Summer Cooling Measures: Protecting Workers in the Heat - The Group Co©mpany's Trade Union Launches a 'Summer Cooling' Cam♣paign

Abstract
In the scorching summer heat, the sun blazes like fire. Just after the Drag>on Boat Festival, high temperatures spread from north to south, posing m®any challenges to the work and lives of employees. ♥To do a good job in heatstroke prevention and cooling, and to effectively maintain and protect the ∏health of employees, the Group's trade union actively launched a "Summer∏ Cool Delivery" campaign, providing employees with heatstroke prevention and coolβing drinks, and promptly delivering the company's care and concern to frontline employees.
For the heatstroke prevention and cooling drinks distributed this year, in♠ early May, the Group's trade union conducted surveys☆ and solicited employee opinions through various methods to und¶erstand the actual needs of employees and appropriately adjusted th×e types and quantities of drinks to ensure that the pur&chased heatstroke prevention and cooling drinks are both practical and meet employee needs. Based o<n in-depth research among employees, the Group's trade union carefully selected mineral water, be♦verages, white sugar, plum powder, fruit juice, etc., as refreshing drinks, considering th↔e characteristics of summer high temperatures. For self-made cold drink machines and equipment, the× Group's trade union reminded all units to conduct a thorough cleaning to ensure equipment± cleanliness and hygiene before putting them into use, and to check t↔he operation of the cold drink machines. For aging cold drink machines that c₹annot be repaired, actively coordinate and cooperate with the equipment business department to purchase and update them.
Early in the morning of May 29, the first batch of trucks carrying m♦ineral water arrived at the company's gate. The Group's trade union divided into several groups to guide the trucks to various units in the industrial park, cont♥acted relevant personnel in the business department in advance, checked t he quantity, and confirmed the signature. The distribution work proceeded in an orderly m₩anner, and 38,400 bottles of mineral water were delivered to various front₩line production units in a timely manner. On May 31, according to t he procurement needs provided by various frontline production departments, an ad€ditional 2,832 bags of fruit juice, 2,184 bags of plum> powder, 1,817 bags of white sugar, and 180 cans of barley tea were distributed for use in making> cold drinks in frontline production workshops. On June 12, with the highest tem↓perature of the day reaching 35℃, the Group's trade union once again organized personnel to dis↓tribute a total of 16,623 bottles of various beverages, includin→g black tea, green tea, and soda water, according to the needs of each department. Subsequenσtly, the Group's trade union will continue to distribute heatstroke prevention drinks in a₹ timely manner based on weather and temperature conditions, making every effort to e≈nsure the production and life of employees and enhance their sense of happiness and gain.
Company leaders attach great importance to heatstroke prevention and coo¶ling work. At the secretary's meeting in June, Yang Anguo, Party Secretary and Chairman↕ of the Board of Directors of the Group, specificall≠y emphasized the importance of doing a good job in summer heatstroke prevention and cooli&ng, requiring that care and concern for employees be implemente≠d in concrete actions. It is hoped that grassroots ×trade unions will closely monitor high-temperature weather coλnditions, supervise the implementation of labor protection measures×, and earnestly carry out the "Summer Cool Delivery" work, embodyin÷g the core values of "people-oriented", ensuring that employ$ees safely spend the summer, and safeguarding the company's production and operation.
